Life Lesson #327,898: If you impulsively bring 2 kittens into your home, they are a pain in the butt.
I've learned a lot in the past couple of months. If you're reading this entry, you must know Sara and me and how we thought it would be so fun to get kittens for Gabe. If you don't know us...I mean, seriously, don't you have anything better to be doing with your time?
Anyway, these cats are making me nuts.
I always wanted to have pets once we owned a house, and now that we own a house and have put so much work into it, it irks me to no end to watch these little monsters make a mess of everything. I've always wanted to have a dog some day, but... don't tell Sara...I think I'm changing my mind.

Uh-oh!!! This will only add fuel to Patrick's NO animal fire. But it sounds like it must be the for the best, at least for now anyway. I'm sure once your sweet little kittens grow into cats they will make such better, and super easy pets. Remember how crazy Chewy used to be? He's calmed down a ton.
Dan and Sara...It's Amber...I can relate to your cat story..we just got the sweetest little kittens the day after thanksgiving and they terrorize everything. We recently bought our own home and I'm constantly worried that they are going to ruin something and I suppose it's bound to happen. like when they repel the couch and the fabric is tearing as they go....i just cringe! but the most important thing is that aliyah loves them, right!!!!!??? Ha...it's nice to chat with you guys and your son is ADORABLE!!!!

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog...it's great to hear from you. We're getting our cats fixed next week and then a few weeks after that having their front claws taken out...I'm thinking that should mellow them out a little.
